GreenStar – Simply green, this is the revolution of two-component wood floor finishing. By introducing Berger-Seidle’s innovation – AquaChoice GreenStar, Creative Wood Solutions can now offer the first two-component lacquer system completely free of any hazard labelling on the hardener. Isocyanate or aziridine are avoided completely so that the product does not require any H- and P-statements on the product label. The installer can take advantage of this fact since he can work without any protective measures normally required for products containing isocyanates. This constitutes a new level and generation of environmental, user and health protection. In addition, AquaChoice GreenStar does not emit any CO2 gases during reaction as conventional two-component systems do due to their technology. This is achieved with an entirely new hardener technology developed by Berger-Seidle offering the well-known first-class performance of a two-component waterborne lacquer, for example AquaChoice 2KPU, i.e. highest resistance combined with excellent application properties.

GreenStar is a 2-component, waterborne, premium wood floor finishing product. GreenStar is based on polyurethane, it offers outstanding resistance and work-ability. Although it is 2-component, the product (including the hardener) is completely free of hazardous materials. Moreover, GreenStar does not contain isocyanate, aziridine, or H- and P-phrases, according CLP legislation, and causes no CO2 gas by the drying reaction. Also, the product offers an extremely long pot life after mixing of components of at least 18 hours. Based on its special properties and elasticity, GreenStar AquaChoice finish is approved for cork floors and also achieves outstanding chemical resistance.
